Wrote... So pleased to find your website. My Dad bought and completely renovated 127 Woodville Road, Hartshorne (and gave it the name on the title deeds, "Lambs Hall") in the mid 1960s. We lived there for about 3-4 yrs before emigrating to Australia. I have good memories of Hartshorne - it was a lovely place to live. Keep up the good work with your website.

Wrote... A great site, very interesting to me, as my ancestors the Suttons lived in Hartshorne in late 18th and early 19th cent. They worked in the screw mill until they were transferred (by John Sutton Nettlefold) to Birmingham circa 1845. We visit Hartshorne often and have been in the screw mill pub. Its a lovely village - and a great website! Keep up the good work!
