The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Monday 8 July  starting at 7.00 pm at Goseley Community Centre, Hartshorne.

A G E N D A Ordinary Parish Meeting

 

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

a.     At the start of the meeting a period will be made available for members of the public to ask questions or submit comments to the Parish Councillor's. (Please note only 15 minutes has been allocated)

b.     If the Police Liaison Officer, a County Councillor or District Councillor in attendance, members will be given the opportunity to raise any relevant matters. .

 

1.      Apologies for Absence.

 

2.      Any Member to declare an interest.

a. Under the Parish Councils (Model Code of Conduct) Order 2001 (SI 2001 Number 3576) any member with a personal interest in a matter who attends a meeting of the Authority at which the matter is considered must disclose to that meeting the existence and nature of that interest at the commencement of that consideration, or when the interest becomes apparent.  There are further requirements for members whose interest extends to become a “Prejudicial Interest” within the meaning of the Statutory Instrument.  Councillors must ensure that their “registration of financial and other interests” is up to date.

3.      To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting of the Council held on 10 June 2019 and Recreation Working Group of 10 June 2019.

4.      Co-opting of Parish Councillors - 3 vacancies

5.      All outstanding Declarations of Interests and Acceptance of Office to be returned prior to the start of the meeting.

 

To determine which items if any on Part 1 of the Agenda should be taken with the public excluded.  

 

6.      Police Matters

7.      Clerks Outstanding Action Report to be circulated at the meeting.

8.      Highways, Pavements and Public Footpaths

a. Naming of streets on Broomy Farm.

i. Several requests from Parish Councilors that 'Jenkinson' is added, both for is work in the community plus he falls into the category of an 'Engineer' 

b. Request from Councillor Mrs Landsborough that  the poor state of repair of Pear Tree Close the Parish Council should request that it is resurfaced

9.      Hartshorne’s Parish Web site and newsletter

10.   To receive any reports from Representatives on outside bodies.

11.   Recreation Grounds and Allotments.

a.     Annual report by Rospa

b.     Request from Councillor Mrs Landsborough that the school work with the tenants at Kendricks Close.
