Ordinary Parish Meeting

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION

a. At the start of the meeting a period will be made available for members of the public to ask questions or submit comments to the Parish Councillor's. (Please note only 15 minutes has been allocated)

b. If the Police Liaison Officer, a County Councillor or District Councillor are in attendance, members will be given the opportunity to raise any relevant matters.

2. Any Member to declare an interest.

a. Under the Parish Councils (Model Code of Conduct) Order 2001 (SI 2001 Number 3576) any member with a personal interest in a matter who attends a meeting of the Authority at which the matter is considered must disclose to that meeting the existence and nature of that interest at the commencement of that consideration, or when the interest becomes apparent. There are further requirements for members whose interest extends to become a “Prejudicial Interest” within the meaning of the Statutory Instrument. Councillors must ensure that their “registration of financial and other interests” is up to date.

3. To confirm the Minutes of the Meeting of the Council held on 9 November 2020 and Recreation Working Group 1 December (Both held via video link). Signing of Minutes will be carried out when Lockdown and other restrictions allow.

To determine which items if any on Part 1 of the Agenda should be taken with the public excluded.

1. DMPA/2020/1156 Amended Scheme to (previously approved DMPA/2020/0817) for the rendering and amendments to windows and doors on front elevation at 21, Coventry Close, Midway, Swadlincote, DE11 7PP

2. DMPA/2020/1083 - Demolition of bungalow and erection of two detached dwellings at 4 Church Street, Hartshorne, Swadlincote, DE11 7ER.

3. DMPA/2020/1004. - the erection of 196 dwellings including public open space, landscaping and associated infrastructure and works on Land at Broomy Farm, Woodville Road, Hartshorne, Swadlincote, DE11 7EY.

4. DMPA/2020/1088 - the variation of condition nos. 7 and 10 of permission ref. 9/2018/0709 (for erection of 14 dwellings with associated road, public open space and associated works) to alter the width of the proposed access road into the site and associated works on Land to the rear of 53 and 67 Woodville Road, Hartshorne, Swadlincote, DE11 7ET.

5. DMPA/2020/1098. The erection of a two storey extension at The Stables, Hoofies Farm, Repton Road, Hartshorne, Swadlincote, DE11 7AD.

6. DMPA/2020/1166 The erection of single storey side and rear extension, 2 storey side extension and the erection of a detached garage and new fencing to the front of 32, Main Street, Hartshorne, Swadlincote, DE11 7ES.

7. Appeal reference: 9/2018/0968 4 Church Street, Hartshorne, Swadlincote Description of development: Outline application (all matters except for access to be reserved) for residential development including the demolition of the existing dwelling and erection of three dwellings and alterations to access. Appellant’s name: D Cooper Construction Ltd Appellant’s name: D Cooper Construction Ltd Appeal reference: APP/F1040/W/19/3232081 –

An appeal has been made to the Secretary of State against the decision of South Derbyshire District Council to Refuse to grant planning permission. Following a High Court challenge to the Inspector’s decision on this appeal dated 9th October 2020 the Court has ordered that the appeal be re-determined. This does not necessarily mean that the Inspector will reach a different overall decision.
