PRESENT - Councillors – A Jones, (Chair), R Bell, Mrs J Burley, Mrs M Mycock, N Jenkinson, Mrs K Coe, Mrs S Sharland and P Smith.
APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE - Councillors Mrs J Slawson, D Tagg, P Redfern and D West. County Councillor Mrs L Chilton.
NOT PRESENT - Councillor R Coe

PUBLIC PARTICIPATION None
District Council report - 1. Councillor Taylor reported that the new Safer Neighbourhood Sergerant has now been appointed. 2. Councillor Taylor hat SDDC are consulting on noise from EMA particularly overnight flights. 3. Councillor Mrs Coe reported that SDDC are currently consulting on Open Spaces in the District. 4. Councillor Mrs Coe reported that SDDC are improving Officers contact list.

POLICE MATTERS 1. Councillor Mrs Burley reported thefts from sheds on Goseley Estate. The Police are aware. |

MATTERS ARISING 1. The Clerk presented a monthly update on all outstanding matters; this is attached to the minutes.

HIGHWAYS, PAVEMENTS & PUBLIC FOOTPATHS 1. Concerns were expressed that now construction has started at Broomy Farm the new entrance is causing difficulties for traffic coming from Woodville. RESOLVED Clerk to contact DCC to see if additional signage can be added. 2. Councillor Smith asked if a footpath diversion was in place at the entrance to Broomy Farm development. RESOLVED Clerk to contact DCC |
3. The Clerk reported that there will be a temporary closure of f/p58 (Lower Midway) from 11 March to 24 April and Road works and road closure on Manchester Lane 3 Mar to 23 March.
4. Councillor Smith asked the Clerk if there had been any progress with regard to the missing footpath sign at Sawmills. The Clerk reported that the developer had been contacted and he had said this would be resolved.

PARISH NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE 1. Councillor N Jenkinson reported that he has nearly completed the annual newsletter and was on schedule for delivery later this month. 2. The Clerk said he would submit a article on the forthcoming Parish elections.

RECREATION GROUNDS & ALLOTMENTS 1. The Clerk reported that he had now received a quotation for new part for slide at Goseley recreation ground. RESOLVED that that the quotation be accepted and the work carried out as soon as possible. 2. Funding for Salisbury Drive by DCC now transferred to Goseley Community Centre as this had now be returned to DCC. RESOLVED that the Clerk contact County Councillor Mrs L Chilton to see when the funds will be made available. 3. Councillor Jones reported that the wire fencing around the ditch at Goseley recreation ground required repair. RESOLVED Clerk to contact contractor.

REPORTS FROM OUTSIDE BODIES 1. Councillor N Jenkinson reported that there has been several changes to the Trustees of the Hartshorne Charities. The next meeting will be held in April. |

PLANNING MATTERS Ref 9/2019/0068 creation of new agricultural access and track at land at Coal Lane, Hartshorne.
The Parish Council queried the need for a new entrance when it's so close to the existing one.
Ref 9/2018/1306 - the erection of an agricultural building with hardcore base and access track on 4549 Manchester Lane Hartshorne DE11 7BE.
This is an additional application making minor changes to the original and as the Parish has made comments to this is was agreed not to make any additional comment.
Ref 9/2019/0060 - the erection and extensions at 114 Winchester Drive, Lower Midway.

1. The Clerk reported that there still remains a small credit on the STW account for the Church tap.
032/19 GENERAL CORRESPONDENCE
• Jim Seaton - Speed camera Sandcliffe Road
Clerk reported that that the sign was now in place.
• DCC - Parish Liaison meeting with DCC 3 April at County Offices Matlock
• PCC - Have your say, Campaign 2018/19
• DCC - Gritting of Repton Road
Clerk reported that he was awaiting a reply to why only part of Repton Road is gritted.
• DCC - Community Projects re Salisbury Drive and Midway FC
• SDDC - refuse freighter will be available for household waste at certain locations within the District
• DCC - Bus Shelter at Ashby Road, Boundary
• Mrs B Fairbrother - thank letter re recent donation
• DCC - mobile library revised timetable
