PRESENT - Councillors – A Jones (Chair), P Smith, D West, Mrs J Burley , J Seaton, Mrs N Landsborough, R Bell, N Jenkinson, G.Tubey and Mrs K Coe
APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE - Councillor Mrs M Mycock, Mrs S Sharland, Mrs J Slawson, P Redfern: District Councillor M Dawson.
ALSO PRESENT – R Smith Clerk to the Parish Council, District Councillors M Gee, S Taylor and County Councillor Mrs L Chilton.

Ordinary Parish Meeting
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION None
District Council report - 1. District Councillor Taylor reported that he had had several enquires as why so many trees had been removed on Swadlincote Road, he had been informed by SDDC that this was part of the work being carried out on the Woodville Bye Pass. He also reported that the land at The Cutting was to be maintained by SDDC County Council report - . 1. County Councillor Mrs L Chilton reported that several more complaints had been received about parking at Eureka School and these are being investigated. Throughout the County large crews are working on flood defenses. The County had to date repaired over 18000 potholes throughout the County. |

MINUTES OF THE Ordinary Meeting on held on 10 February 2020.
The minutes were then approved as a correct record and signed by the Chairman.
Matter Arising. None.
Any member to declare an interest - Councillors Jones Bell and Mrs Burley under Finance re payment to Goseley Community Centre.
Items for Exemption. None.

POLICE MATTERS 1. Councillor Mrs Burley reported that there had been damage to a window at Goseley Community Centre, Police have investigated but taking no action. 2. For clarification the new Sergeant for the area is Sgt Tarj Nizze 3. Councillor Seaton asked why there was no Police presence at the meeting.

MATTERS ARISING 1. The Clerk presented a monthly update on all outstanding matters; this is attached to the minutes.

HIGHWAYS, PAVEMENTS & PUBLIC FOOTPATHS 1. Councillor asked why the new bus at Main Street had not been completed, as there still no electric supply, waste bin and timetable RESOLVED Clerk to contact SDDC. |
2. Both Councillors Smith and Jenkinson reported that 3 streetlights were on Ticknall Road
RESOLVED Clerk too contact DCC
3. County Councillor Mrs L Chilton reported that County Councillor Musson had not been in contact in respect of speeding along Sandcliffe Road.

PARISH NEWSLETTER AND WEBSITE 1. Councillor Jenkinson asked all Parish Councillors to supply a passport sized photo to be included on the Parish web site. 2. Councillor Jenkinson asked for contributions to the next Parish Newsletter to be distributed in March/April. 3. Councillor Jenkinson reported that the web site had been updated to show future film nights at the Dethick Hall

RECREATION GROUNDS & ALLOTMENTS 1. Councillor asked if the Bye laws effecting dogs on recreation covered Main Street recreation ground. RESOLVED Clerk to contact SDDC.

• Severn Trent – Fire hydrant on Sandcliffe Road.
This has been reported to both STW and the Fire Service, however to date the hydrant has not been repaired.
