Cllr
Jones welcomed everyone to the meeting.
Residents in attendance at the meeting raised their concerns regarding
the no 2 bus service being stopped in Goseley. Cllr Muller confirmed the County
Council are liaising with the bus company.
Cllr Jones reported the parish council have contacted Arriva and Cllr
Muller to express their concerns and those of the residents.
Discussions
also took place, and it was asked if the bus service is subsidised and if so the operator has an obligation to provide the service. It was also queried whether the evening bus service would be reinstated. Cllr Jones confirmed the parish council would
write to the bus company again and Cllr Muller will report all concerns.
Cllr Taylor reported he would report the leaves on the footpath at the cutting
to SDDC.

Grounds
7a Recreational Grounds Cllr Jones confirmed a meeting took place on the 7th
November and notes circulated with a number of recommendations. The parish council are in talks with Woodville
football club to tidy up the car park and an onsite meeting has been
arranged. Clerk confirmed a letter has
been received from SDDC offering a monthly inspection at £37.65 per site or £75
per year for small sites or £150 for bigger sites. RESOLVED all Cllrs agree
to recommendations following the recreational meeting. All cllrs agree to monthly inspection from
SDDC but have asked for a reduction for Midway as SDDC own the play equipment.
7b Noticeboards Clerk
confirmed noticeboards have been delivered and awaiting installation. Cllr
Jenkinson reported a K Bolton would be happy to quote to input the noticeboards.
Cllr Burley reported there have been issues at Goseley Community Centre including
broken glass and graffiti. Issues have
been reported to the police and the noticeboard should be put on hold at present. Clerk confirmed residents have been asking
for upto date posters in the noticeboards.
RESOLVED that Agendas and QR code information to be added to
noticeboard.

council will submit the application for the area to be listed as an asset of
community value

Clerk confirmed Cllr Sharland has resigned and
she is waiting for information from SDDC regarding the Parish Councillor
vacancies. RESOLVED to consider
co-option at the next Parish Council meeting.

The Local
plan was discussed, and it was agreed that all Cllrs would look at the
questions and provide response to the clerk to collate and send in responses
once received. Cllr Smith will request consultation
packs from SDDC for Cllrs who preferred a paper copy. The closure date is the 5th
December 2022.
Planning Decisions
151/2022 Highways and Public Footpaths
Cllr Smith reported the waste bin adjacent to the bus stop on Main
Street is not fixed correctly. RESOLVED
clerk to contact SDDC.
Cllr Smith asked why no poppies were put up on Main Street. Cllr Jones reported he spread the ones
available them around the district. RESOLVED
Cllr Jenkinson to ask previous clerk if he still has poppies.
Cllr Jenkinson reported the
website is now up to date and will add a link to the local plan

Clerk reported an email had been
received from an allotment holder reporting displeasure that nothing had happened and holders were unhappy with the notice put
up. RESOLVED meeting to be
arranged with the allotment holder on 12th December at 6.30pm

confirmed Eon have sent correspondence confirming the parish council are
eligible for the energy relief scheme.

Cllr Jones confirmed
a meeting has taken place with a company who supplies SIDs. Options discussed and a quote is awaited. To
discuss options at the next meeting.
Cllr Smith reported
resident who has approached him to set up a speed watch group and funding is available
to purchase equipment.
