RESOLVED: Minutes agreed as a true record and signed by the Chair.  All Cllrs agreed.

                          

321/2023            Recreation Grounds

 

7a Recreational Grounds – Sailsbury Drive Lease.  Clerk confirmed SDDC would not ask the parish for any money regarding rent.  Resolved that the parish council are in agreement that they would ascertain what is in the container and pass keys to SDDC.  The lease would cease on the 1st February 2024 and the clerk will contact the football clubs to make them aware of the changes

Community payback –Resolved Cllrs agree with the risk assessment for work to be completed at Goseley Changing rooms.  To the knowledge of the parish council, they do not believe there is any asbestos and RACC at the changing rooms.

7c Trim Trail equipment – new date being arranged for the new year with Wickstead

c.     Shared SID in Ticknall..  Resolved After discussion and with agreement from all Parish Councillors present, Cllr Seaton is to compose an email for the Attention of all relevant County and District levels including Heather Wheeler, to raise Parish Councils’ concerns that they are not happy with and will challenge that the shared agreement has been suspended by the County Highways Department.

d.     Act 1980 - Parish of Hartshorne – footpath 35.  Resolved confirm objection.

e.     Resolved parish council agree to the 2024 summer scheme

f.      SDDC - Our Draft Council Plan 2024-2028 received and sent to Cllrs.  Resolved clerk to request a representative from SDDC to discuss the plan and ask for feedback from the questionnaire sent in the spring

g.     Teams meeting on 6/12 Personal Security Briefings - Elected Officials and Faith Leaders

h.     Concurrent funding email received reporting fund is being reduced, possibly stopped.  Resolved clerk to raise concerns to SDDC and the reasons behind the decision

i.      Hartshorne Charities.  Resolved Cllr Landsborough to represent the parish council

j.      East Midlands Airport Airspace Change Stage 2 - Gateway outcome for information

324/2023            Highways and Public Footpath

Raised by Cllr Bigg via email.  There are 5 dangerous potholes in Dunsmoor Lane, not far from its junction with Sandcliffe Road, and b). Some of the humps in Repton Road that recently had work completed on them are already starting to give way! Resolved report to DCC

Cllr Slawson reported the Manchester Lane gulley road has broken away and there are a few large potholes.  Resolved report to DCC and request signage be improved along with the signage Sandcliffe Road.

 

325/2023           Website and Communications

Resolved Cllr Lansdborough to add QR codes to the noticeboards linking straight to the website.  Discuss newsletter at the next meeting.

 

326/2023            Allotments

Clerk confirmed she is awaiting quotes for work following sub meeting.  Resolved Cllrs agree to risk assessment for the allotments and request from Tree and Garden services to complete hedge cutting on Tower Road side and quote for work on plot 2.  Residents meeting to be arranged for February and review insurance policy for allotments.
