Resident reported they are organising a village
fete and dog show on 6th July 2025 at Hartshorne Cricket Club, with
stall holders and sponsorship being requested for all parishioners.

Cllr Muller apologies, feedback that the County Council elections will
take place on 1st May
District
Council
Cllr Taylor reported that SDDC have made the decision
to hand bus shelters responsibility back to DCC.
Cllr Archer confirmed she has had a few complaints
regarding dog fouling in the area and anti-social behaviour at the new estate
on Stirling Road.

Recreational Grounds
· O’Connor quote sent to Cllrs
regarding work on the changing rooms at Goseley following the flood. Resolved Cllrs agree to the quote,
clerk to source dehumidifier.

Quote for replacement 90 litre metal green litter bin that needs
to be replaced on Mount Road Play area including removal and disposal of
original bin would be - £610 + VAT. Resolved clerk to get
further quotes.

Cllr Seaton requires a sign is required on Main Street horses
should not exercise on the recreation grounds. Resolved clerk to look at standard sign.

Cllr Stevens reported no further update at
Broomy Farm
Cllr Slawson reported that a few
potholes have been fixed on Manchester Lane but not very well. Resolved Clerk to contact Cllr Muller.
Cllr Rogers has sent pictures of the
gulleys at Manchester Lane. Resolved
clerk to contact SDDC requesting they are cleared.
Cllr Seaton asked if the Parish Council is any nearer with the gov.
domain. Resolved Clerk to invite
webmaster to the next meeting to discuss.
Clerk confirmed she has booked an allotment meeting for the
17th of February 2025 via zoom.
Cllr Seaton reported that Cllr Smith has the allotment
numbers.
Cllrs will continue to monitor plots.

RESOLVED All Cllrs agreed to the payments above. Goseley Community Centre donation will be
paid in the new financial year.

29/2025 SID and shared SID
Clerk confirmed they are waiting to hear back from DCC re the
extra poles. Ticknall Parish Council has
been in contact due to an intermittent fault with the shared SID, they have
requested that the contractor initiate repair, and we will await outcome.
30/2025 Any other business
Cllr Seaton reported he had attended 3 courses via DALC,
allotments part 1 and 2 and finance.
Very informative and helpful and would urge any Cllr to attend. Cllr Seaton to send the slides round to
Cllrs.
